I noticed that in a lot of place, the floor is always made of those smooth material that will become slippery when wet especially during rainy days. For indoor I don't mind because it rarely get wet, but those outdoor and near to outdoor area at HDB flat, hawker centre, even hospital, the floor is also very slippery.
On slipperty floor, people have to walk slowly, it really reduce the productivity of the country.
Sometimes people want to rush for something, to work, to see clients, attend important event, or worse case if there is any terrorist attack, poison gas whatever, then everyone has to walk slowly behind a huge crowd in front.
this one small case lah

Because people in noiseology are fortunate enough for me to share this idea.
If not you tell me where should this topic be placed lah.

sometime back, me and a colleague was staying at the luxury hotel in mumbai, the taj. we were on business there.
my colleague walked across the reception area and slipped badly. actually, a while back, an employee had mopped the floor.
my colleague created such a big scene over there that i actually feel so paiseh and stay far far.
of course, the hotel staff were apologetic since the customers is always right, but i think there is still no need to create the ruckus he did.
it's how you walk on it. if you are careful, you will stay on your own 2 feet. but if you swagger, too bad.
pour glue over slippery floors to resolve problem

Noiseology is for everyone to make noise. It enjoys freedom of speech. Even fifi has no jurisdiction here.. really..

yes totally agree! i kanna before and even when i walk properly with proper shoes, u still could slip and fall. Its better to sacrifice the 'pretty design' for everyone's safety. or why cant tile designers design something thats pretty, slightly reflective, but non-slippery??
