the coffee shop near my place put up a notice yesterday announcing the price increase in a very apologetic manner. i think if they were to be upfront and straight about it, i feel better. i can't help but think they are indirectly laughing at me because i don't have a choice now....nabeh...

I dun mind paying extra 10cents but please 'bao' a good cup of tea or coffee lah. Did you notice some coffeeshops 'tao chew' purposely put only 1 or 2 tea spoon of milk to the kopi or teh you order while some really put in lots of sweetener??? This is what I want. Sweet. Not those so call teh or kopi but 'po po' one. Drink like drink plain water. Nb!

if you want sweet, can always ask them to put in more condensed milk.some more health conscious folks like me don't like extra calories in our coffee leh.
moreover those tao chiu always regard folks that want extremely sweetened coffee non coffee drinkers,
because it mask the taste of the coffee.
as far as i know, the only folks that like very sweet coffee are indians and malays,
that's why you see a higher proportion of Indians contracting diabetes.

sometimes it's because they left the coffee standing for too long,
when you boil coffee for too long, it becomes rancid.
freshly made coffee is the best.
