  Although there were many wasted people lying around, although there were many merlion scenes, although there were many people squeezing here and there, although there weren't many places to go to afterwards...

  We went there early...so it wasn't so bad...the crowded area was mainly Esplanade..the crowd control there is , and the bridge to fullerton Hotel...those 2 are so crowded because the people literally sat on the bridge waiting for the countdown
