I used to get it several times a month when I was 12 - 16 years old, and I was hella tramautised by it.
So many times I was afraid to go to sleep, because I was afraid of getting sleep paralysis. So many times I woke up paralyzied, and hallucinated, seeing a bloody ghost outside my room.

ur one was a ghost lah.Originally posted by Gasfene:I can guarantee you one of the reasons that cause sleep paralysis is air quality and ventilation.
Once my friend told me that a room is creepy and no one should sleep inside this aircon room (small like a store room). I tried sleeping in there for a few days and one day, i have sleep paralysis. It took me a while and i realised that it is due to the lack of air in the room.
It is a small air-con store room with no windows.
Ask yourself these questions:
1. Are you having phlegm? Is your nasal passage half-choked?
2. Do you have heavy breathing problems esp after exersing?
3. Do you even exercise?
4. Does the room you sleep in have good air ventilation?
