... you ah... I was doing some SQL database programming today... siong like hell... only stopped at 8 pm (not yet done... and you can have a "sudden surge of happiness" thinking about doing IT job for a living...... lucky I don't have to do this 9-5 everydayOriginally posted by Agenda:Saturday and Sunday were very bad days for me as I was rushing my Java assignment, I did not understand much of the logic and thus was unable to complete my methods.
As witnessed by DMI and Ah Lua, I lamented on msn on how much I wished I was in a business course instead. On monday, a day before my assignment was due I was still lost but luckily I had friends who were good at Java and helped me with it.
I was actually one of the top student last sem in Java, Just that I kind of lost memory during the long break and I did not pay as much attention as I did to Java last sem.
Now, After handing in my assignment, I feel so happy that I completed it. Moreover, I feel that I am able to understand the logic at least 80% already. So getting good result should be no program already.
Then, My friend told me about how his sister with the diploma similar to what I'm taking now is getting paid 4k/mnth while his cousin a IT degree holder is getting paid more than 10k/mnth in the US.
Then my course manager told me that with my diploma, I can expect a starting salary of more than 2k when I graduate.
Wow.
