just a quick question
what beer do you usually drink in Melb?
I only recognise Erdinger, and thats a good oneOriginally posted by Gedanken:It depends on my mood - I don't stick to any given beer. Some of preferred ones are:

- Knappstein
- Bohemian Pilsner
- Squires Golden or Amber Ale
- Erdinger (various sorts)
- Chimay
Hell, if I haven't had it for long enough, even a Tiger goes down well!
The run-of-the-mill stuff here is pretty crappy - having had litre after litre of VB as a student, I'll be glad to never touch a drop of that stuff again. However, the recent trend is for smaller breweries to come up with new beers, and some of these can be pretty good. Both Moo Brew and Knappstein are actually made by wineries rather than breweries, and those are two damned good local beers.Originally posted by laurence82:I only recognise Erdinger, and thats a good one
coz my Aussie colleagues were like complaining about the beer they have there, and the good stuff like Hoegaarden was so expensive
they drank like camel the last time they were here
