  Nope - I sometimes use the kit lens for close-up work because the focal length is 10cm (the Sigma's is 50cm) but for an all-round lens the Sigma does a good job. I'm thinking of getting a Canon EF 28-135 f/4-5.6 IS lens next.

  Some affordable watch lor.. always wear watch coz somehow muz know the time. (though it's not bcoz of meeting appt times.. ) habit la.
  
  But very heavy n uncomfortable. The best is nv go out.. can be naked.

  Anyway, before I went upmarket, this was my watch:
  
  
  
  It happily took anything life could throw at it - every scratch and scar has a story behind it, and I've made a point to never have any of them fixed up. Best of all, after 19 years it's still sitting on my watch winder ticking merrily away and I still wear it on occasion. The Seiko 6309 is easily the most reliable watch movement I've ever come across.
  
  BTW Laz, was the Blue Sub I posted the one you were talking about?

  Get a Seiko automatic. Dollar for dollar it's the best value out there.
