the tyre is not distorted. it's called camber. camber is added sometimes to help grip and cornering.
altho honestly to me this looks like a fotoshop job.
in any case i also wonder why it's got beemer look-alike rims
if this was real, then honestly i think its ugly. -

seriously..maybe the oil price hike is due to global events.
