As a child, I used to believe that game arcades are the most profitable businesses in the world.
After taking into account all the utilities bills, staffs' wages, maintenance costs, etc, I don't think it's true anymore.

I dun remember believing anything but I thought the world and life itself was beautiful. It still si now but not as beautufil as it was.

As a child.. gawd... I remember kind of 'believing' that the Faraway Tree and Wishing Chair was real... a little bit like Santa Clause sort of thing.. u didnt want to NOT believe it.
But somehow around P4... I confront it and broke down sobbing to my parents and ask them.. why.. they are not real..... -

As a child, because I watched too much HK gambling movies at night, I NEVER EVER dared to tilt my head back, for fear of an Ace of Spades slicing my throat.
I still have that phobia.
As a child, I used to believe ghosts would follow me to my bed, so I sprinted to my bed every night. I still do sometimes.
As a child I used to believe sleeping on a book would make me smarter. I still do now, even though I know it is useless.

I used to believe that I'll get a cut on a ear lobe after pointing a finger at the moon. But but.. how do u explain the unusual occurances of cuts on the ear?
