like forrest gump, titanic (not counted), twister and some other old movies. as someone said, there are too many action and horror movies nowadays. -

was watching a few really old movies recently on the tube... like Arsenic and Old Lace... i am a big fan of those really OLD movies..
heck! my fave remains Casablanca to this day... somewhere in my room is this poster rolled up, waiting to be displayed again
as for the newer stuff (which isn't that new), i really liked Streets of Fire.. rock star girl, tough guy ex-boyfriend, a biker gang that kidnaps her, hero to the rescue.. comic book stuff... and with a killer soundtrack by Dan Hartman, The Blasters, Fire Inc..
many others.. like Pulp Fiction, Like Water for Chocolate, Reservior Dogs, Lost in Translation... -
The Superman and Indiana Jones series most memorable to me when I was young then. A not-so-vintage movie called "Tora! Tora! Tora!" also deserves my mention.
Some movies done before the 90s like "Full Metal Jacket" & "Apocalypse Now" caught my attenttion oni these few yrs ago. -
