  i heard that this year the festival started earlier than expected and ended earlier too... so those who booked a later flight to japan actually missed the opportunity to view it.

  We lived there for 6 years and it's a time of year which we used to look forward to. We would drive around the neighbourhood just spotting sakura in bloom. Very pretty sight in pictures but even better in real life.

  I moved away from Japan last Octber so I'm clueless now. It's usually in April but all depends on the weather. I do have pics to share. In fact, I've already posted two here. Here's the link.
