Fat Penguins have to Exercise in Japan
In a Japan zoo, the penguins have to exercise because they are getting fat. Visitors seems really amused by exercizing penguins.
Authorities at Asahiyama Zoo are taking the penguins on 500-yard walks on the snowy grounds twice a day, said zoo spokesman Tetsuo Yamazaki.
"Just like in humans ... the fat accumulates during the winter months, and the blood-sugar level rises," Yamazaki explained from the zoo, 570 miles northwest of Tokyo. -
haha..ya...first saw them on the show by ericia lee and sho..extreme japan..
it is said that it's very hard to differentiate the males from the females-they look exactly the same!
they also commented that when they were born..the males were given rings to wear..which they carry as they grow up..
