its a natural occuring phenomena..

I saw one in 1990,still remember.It was the first time such a phenomen was sighted in Singapore and it came up in the papers.
By the way,I stay south and have seaview from my place.How come watersprouts are always to the south of Singapore? -
lol..cos i think e north (straits) its too narrow...we are too close to m'sia
these needs lotsa energy (heat) to occur..therefore, larger area, more energy.. -

Read abt it's occurance in SG before.. in the papers. But definitely not twisters. SG is not geographically located in a twister-prone zone.

Anyway, its unlikely we will have those tornadoes shown on documentaries or movies.
They occur at place where hot and cold air current clashes. -
