of course it is... but that a building everyone can see and touch... and u cant judge an emotional thought, so how would u think that its an hostage situation for the question i've posted...Originally posted by kalangkabo:what is your definition of "sound"?

if an MRT station has been around for a couple of years with trains running through it; ticketing machine, air-conditioning, and all other systems functional; but no people using it... is it still an MRT station?
NO..Originally posted by carpe diem jur:If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?
You mean suicide is a crime? This reminds me of an Ally McBeal episode I watched last night.. A woman - Helen, has split personality. This other side of her, Helena, wants to leave her husband who is a doctor. Helena sued her husband, but the judge ruled in favour of Helen, who 'came back' once in a while. In the end, Helen 'died' and Helena left her husband.Originally posted by alfagal:NO..
if he dies, its considered suicide,
if he is not successful, it wld b attempted suicide,
however, given into consideration tat tis person has mental disorder, he might not have to serve sentence.
at most stay at IMH........
y do u think pple always make us of health or disorders tryin to get rid of death sentence?Originally posted by kaobeikaobu:if that's considered murder, means having extreme split personalities is acceptable and is considered normal enough in society...whether in the eyes of law or to us.

ever wondered y pple who attempted to jump from buildings, but din, or survived e ordeal, are still captured by e police? they might b in hopsital, but still in 'jail'.....cos they broke e law of attempting suicide. tis is to remind e rest of e public to take lives seriously.
anyway, i guess carpe diem jur has some misconception bout multiple personalities...Originally posted by carpe diem jur:If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?
can that depend on the frequency of the change in personalities?Originally posted by alfagal:anyway, i guess carpe diem jur has some misconception bout multiple personalities...
is can only b considered hostage if there are two pple..( or wat u thinking two personalities)
however, there can only b existence of one personality at one point of time. therefore, the same person cant b personality A trying to kill personality B in him or her at e same time....
guess not..cos e change is rather clear cut..Originally posted by ^spidee^:can that depend on the frequency of the change in personalities?
