the bigger qn should be :
if an MRT station has been around for a couple of years with trains running through it; ticketing machine, air-conditioning, and all other systems functional; but no people using it... is it still an MRT station?

You mean suicide is a crime? This reminds me of an Ally McBeal episode I watched last night.. A woman - Helen, has split personality. This other side of her, Helena, wants to leave her husband who is a doctor. Helena sued her husband, but the judge ruled in favour of Helen, who 'came back' once in a while. but e huang na case, ah hao din get away, cos he doesnt have SUFFICIENT evidence. IF a person REALLy has tat disorder, n there is evidence of it, then most prob wld b given excuse...however, it isnt ez for a normal person to live in IMH either....
there is nothing got to do w if a person w mulitple personalities and acceptance in society.
as long as a person had e disorder, there is no such thing as NORMAL ENOUGh in society. it is how e person seek treatment w regards to e serverness of his or her condition. -

ever wondered y pple who attempted to jump from buildings, but din, or survived e ordeal, are still captured by e police? they might b in hopsital, but still in 'jail'.....cos they broke e law of attempting suicide. tis is to remind e rest of e public to take lives seriously. -
