Any suggestions for a nice cosy place to study??

  As above, but i need a place that allows mi to use their power point for my laptop, with or without internet connection is fine for mi... as long i'm allowed to use the power supply...
  
  i've been gg to coffee bean for few years but the table is really small and is noisy for mi to concentrate.. so i ended up not doing much over there from morning til nyt..
  
  i'm not fussy about the pricing of the cafe drinks as long reasonable, with a proper table for mi to study... i would need space for writing and placing my reference books in case i would need to refer to... as i'm doing mostly research for my final year... do u guys know of any nice cafe i can go to often??
  
  i've checked and went to several libraries but they do not allow library users to use the power points... or mayb u guys happen to know any library around which allows us to use their power point for personal use though not using library books for research??
  
  cant study at home since young, for no reason but i really cant concentrate coz home is too much of comfortable place for mi... i tried many tyms to force myself to do my stuffs at home, even removing the tv from my room and locking myself in, nothing helps... i'm too easily distracted at home..
  
  is so hard to find such a place in singapore, or i havent know of any yet...

  go some of the macdonalds lor e.g. the former horse racing place at Bukit Timah there... got internet access and got power plug too...and quiet cos not many pple go there

  where arh?? i used to go west coast mac but very inconvenient... which part of bukit timah??

  Funan IT mall, free usage of their wireless internet thingy so u can use your laptop. Just stay away from the first floor cos that's where all the restaurants are.
  
  Cos IT stuff mah, ppl like go there once a week so not much ppl there. But no place for u to sit

  hmm a more ulu shopping complex?
  
  eg great world city smack between orchard and tiong bahru area?
  Dun think much people go to this ulu place on weekdays much
  
  Think there should be a coffee bean cafe there bah since u are used to going coffee bean.

  It's at Turf City. Meanwhile I can't remember if Smooze (sp), a smoothie cafe at Novena Square, is still in operation...people could plug their laptops into the sockets there.

  ok, i think this should be a much better choice than other coffee beans right? since most are noisy... but do u know is there power points there??

  yeah i was there everyday last few months, and recently they stop allowing customers to use their power points...
