go around to ask for the rates, compare, see which one suitable, which one u like.....
so tt u know where ur finances stand
enough or not, need to save more or not, or how the money can be better spent
Yea, I did start to look around for suitable restaurants and also called them to ask about the rates...so now I roughly can gauge how much the whole thing will take...
If I do it in Noble House, most prolly can get the banquet done in 15k...then another 3k for my KL side dinner...and around 5k for my photoshoot, photographer, make up artist and misc stuff...
Gim Tim food is good! My frn had his wedding at the Yishun Branch,..

actually it is less than that if you just count the tables, and don't count in the wines and beers yet. One of the packages they have cost around $540, so if I have 20 tables then it is around 11k. Wines + beer estimated to cost extra 1k to 2k at most because don't think our guests are really the alcoholic sort lolz.

actually my colleagues suggested that I ordered buffet catering from GimTim and rent a venue...like that it will cost less...but dunno whether family will be happy with buffet style dining or not..
人家 no like buffet
人家 must sit down in banquet hall and be served 8 or 9 course dinner
if not, they say the wedding no count, must 摆 again

Hmm...when I last checked...the seletar country club costs more than 400 definitely...
Hi rainee,
i would recommend Pin Si Yishun Branch which is at blk 925, at a multi storey carpark near North Point. The food there is really gd n holding a banquet there isn't expensive. My dad's fren just had his there n both my 2 uncles had theirs there too. Food yummy and the way they did their settings is veri classy =D
If u wld like to have it at other place, Pin Si Kitchen Pte Ltd also have outside catering. You can also have their Buffet Catering too (i tink the buffet catering can also be held in their Yishun Restaurant). My cousin will be holding his ROM at yishun pin si next sat, but his is in Buffet style, not sit down banquet.
You can check out their website www.pinsi.com.sg
Wedding is once a lifetime, dun like budget hinder u from having a nice n class wedding. I've just checked with my parents, you can actually contact them to talk bout prices and food if the package doesn't suit u. So maybe u can check out with Pin Si Yishun ba.
PS. The yebber review on Pin Si Yishun Branch i was done by mi. =D
Glad to know tat people actually notice my review. hehe!
Cheers!
