Scammed at V2 Pub?

  Was at V2 the other night. Can anyone with more experience help tell me if I got scammed? to be honest it is my second time going to pub. first time to mask 51 and had a good time. so this time went V2. The bartender brought me these two girls to sit with me. They looked like customers there drinking so I thought because they like me. A fight broke out between bartender and some other people there so I wanted to leave. When I get up to leave they make me give them each $50. I only had $40 left so gave it to them and left. Now don't want to go back.

  Yeah stupid of me. Had a bad day at work thought I get a beer after dinner down the street. Weird thing is I saw those girls again last week at another bar. What's going on?

  you're right fireice. i think v2 not for me. i feel safer at mask 51. at least i don't feel scammed...yet. :D

  try again. here's how v2 works. lots viet bu. the servers come sit and drink with you. if don't like there's the viet bu tourists can sit and drink with you so u know to not expect much talking. just ask staff and they bring u someone. be nice to them and they oso scratch your back. ;)

  of course afterwards they want tip. i usually give $10. so don't ruin the price for everyone. the more u "talk" the more they want. hehehe. u think they come drink with u cause u handsome lah? so shutup and pay up. no $$$ then don't go.

  anyone doesn't believe me can see for yourself. most ktv/bars in geylang/joo chiat area like dat.
