these few days i've got nothing to do .. so i reinstall back cabalSEA client and was working fine all the day..
until just now when i tried to login .. the anti virus program in my laptop detected there's a trojan Trojan Horse Downloader.Banload.UHT
i heal it .. and is unable to launch the game
i reinstall and the shit is still there..
anyone's facing the same problem?
ooo i'm playing another game, pirate king online, also got this prob after i reinstalled.
Apparently someone hacked the update server and put a trojan there.
Might be same thing going on in Cabal?

i'm not very sure.. i hope the trojan is not disastrous T_T
I solved my prob by getting my friend's game folder and use his to overwrite mine.
But Cabal installation file already 2gb hor...=X might take a while to transfer the whole folder in your case hehe.

Hi to all AVG users. AVG is never lame, nor stupid or rubbish. They're one of the leading anti-virus softwares currently in the market and being widely used by corporates (*Wildly use by home users too). You just don't know how to utilize it because this software is not meant for IT-illiterates.
If you see trojan horses being detected while installing Cabal, do not panic or worry because not all trojans do harm to your computer.
When you download the new client, and if the Resident Shield pops up saying it is a trojan horse, do the following: (AVG 8.0.100)
1. Click Ignore
2. Go to your AVG Resident Shield
3. Click Manage exceptions
4. Tick the 'use excludes for the Resident Shield'
5. Add path c:\wherever you put your entire Cabal Folder
6. Click ok and save changes
7. Run your cabal.exe
8. Come back here and say many thanks.
Note*: Disabling Resident Shield will result in your computer being exposed to REAL threats.
Cheers.
hopefully the trojan issue will be solved..
but i'm still paranoid cause it seems there's not yet an official reply from asiasoft regarding this issue
