Nowadays artistes cannot act....even HK and taiwan younger ones standards are dropping but ours so far the worst

They are trying to speak proper Mandarin, concentrating on the lines and pronounciation, that their expression and portrayal of the characters are affected.
Mandarin is not their mother tongue, I don't think their mothers speak Mandarin. They have learnt it, like a foreign language.

most medias here are feministic ....broadcasting discriminatory remarks against men...from dramas to editorials....no surprise esp the dramas script were written by these feminists...yet condoned by the system and its subsidiaries...
they are deeply prevalent and largely disseminated....

In short we lack artistes who lacked substance tough deric never make it big his acting and singing much better than our artistes!!

Yea! I gotta agree they are kinda getting worse. esp the 7pm show now, Your Hand in Mine? The plot is super boring, draggy and lame. :S I think i like hong kong drama series more.

the issue here is lack of good and promising actors/actresses, scriptwriters, producers and directors to replace old ones.
this issue is also facing the hong kong industry. after andy lau and tony leung, who in the younger generation can be as good as them? none. in the 80s, got jackie chan and sammo hung in action movies, 90s got jet lee, 2000 got donnie yen. I ask you, after donnie yen, who will take over as king of action movies? none I can tell you right now.

that's for the movies part but the dramas part is more vibrant than ever.
