Vivian Chow to play lesbian in big screen comeback

HONG KONG : Hong Kong star Vivian Chow is set to make heads turn in her big screen comeback after 12 years.
The singer-actress will play a lesbian in a romantic comedy directed by award-winning director Ann Hui, reported Sina.com.
In the film which title has yet to be unveiled, the 42-year-old will share passionate kissing scenes with her on-screen lover played by Hong Kong actress Sandra Ng.
Filming for the movie is scheduled to start next month.
According to reports, Chow was so attracted to the role that she decided to make an exception and return to acting. Featuring bold sex scenes with Ng, this could be a breakthrough role for Chow who has mostly acted in unforgettable sweetie pie roles.
Chow who enjoyed much popularity throughout the late 1980s and the 1990s as a Canto-pop sweetheart, made headlines last year after reports of her then boyfriend Joe Nieh cheating on her were splashed across the tabloids. The couple married in a low-key wedding in January this year.
