To mark MediaCorp's 25th year of local dramas, this year's Star Awards which is in its 13th year will be dishing out several awards in not one but two gala shows over two consecutive Sundays!
The first gala show on Sun, Dec 9 will commemorate 25 years' worth of local dramas. The second show on Sun, Dec 16 will be the much-talked-about annual awards ceremony held to honour the best of local talents.
This year, viewers not only can look forward to 2 grand shows, they can expect to be more involved in this year's shows by telling us who and what they like over the past 25 years. Apart from the Top 10 Most Popular Male/Female Artistes category in Star Awards 2007, 6 out of the 11 award categories featured in the Star Awards – 25th Drama Anniversary Show will be open for public voting.
From 8 Oct – 11 Nov, members of the public can vote for the Top 5 Favourite Theme Songs via telepoll. They can also vote for the Top 5 Favourite Dramas, My Favourite Male Artiste, My Favourite Female Artiste, Screen Heartthrob and Screen Sweetheart by sending in coupons found in I-Weekly & 8 Days.
