The dead are talking and Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is there to listen once again in the second season of Ghost Whisperer.
Able to communicate with earthbound spirits – ghosts who cling to the living because they have unfinished business – Melinda navigates among the dead and the living in her sometimes chilling, sometimes heart-rending and sometimes amusing attempts to act as an intermediary between the ghosts and those they haunt. In this second season’s opener, Melinda has to help her best friend, Andrea cross over.
David Conrad returns as Jim, Melinda’s husband and continues to be Melinda’s leading support. Camryn Manheim, an Emmy and Golden Globe Winner for her role in ‘The Practice’, joins the cast this season. She plays Delia Banks, a single mom whom Melinda builds a close friendship with. Jay Mohr also has a recurring role as Professor Rick Payne who specializes in occult / supernatural beliefs and history. -

Andrea is such a great friend. So sad that she's dead. 
I also wonder who's the guy. He's dead at the very last min of the Ep 1. I'm not going to read up the episode guide or spoiler. I prefer surprises

I got the DVD and finished watching the whole season.
It was so good siah! Yes, there will be a season 3.
Season 2 is so different from Season 1. Not going to elaborate. Dun wanna be a spoiler But I can tell you... the way the season ends will leave you very much in suspense.
