@Kunduno
SA is the first interview (selection assessment). The second interview with manpower personnel is AD (dialogue). Hope this is clear :)
Nope, not recruited yet. Just attended panel interview on 4 aug and will be going for medical examination this afternoon.
All the best in your application! :)
@Kundono
i see! I've already did SA and I'm just waiting for medical call up. :)
@rRaymond haha. thank you for the clarification. Oh. That is nice. All the best to you too! :)
@dinodino oh. icic. good luck to u too!
Anyone receive offer calls from them recently?
@helvetica @mindthegap still waiting as well...
Hi all :)
I guess this is the only best local forums where I can source and seek opinions in regards to my interests towards applying for SPO.
My case is kinda unique as I'm currently (soon to be former) a regular in the SAF and currently working towards a private UniSIM degree.
To cut the long story short, these past few years was not really 'fulfilling' for me as I constantly felt day by day I am in the wrong service organisation given the environment and tasks I have been involved in. Morever, I had the decision to choose between SPF or SAF initially but regrettably for me, I choose the latter.
Anyway, I would like to seek advice and suggestions on some issues some of you might be able to voice out with...
1) I have not yet graduated with the degree, will they still accept my application if I were to send in my current results (all except final year)?
2) Being in the low 30s, anyone feels I am too old for this position/application? During all your interview stages/boards, you guys/girls can get a 'general sensing' of the average age of your fellow applicatants? :(
Appreciate your replies :)
Hi @Maur,
I'm not so sure for point number one but for point number two, age doesn't matter! I'm in my mid twenties and it stated there are no age requirements upon application. no worries! :)

Still waiting tooooooo... Yawnzzz
@maur Just apply for it. I am in my mid 30s and I just applied for it. I am currently in SIM doing part time degree and tentatively will be graduating this coming December.
However, this is my second time applying for this post. My first application was in 2013. That year, I have 3 more modules to finish but I was still selected for the first interview (SA). But I was unsuccessful in continuing to the second interview.
I am now keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully I will get called up for the SA this time around and subsequently proceed to the next rounds.
Just came back from the long psychomatrical interview. Anyone has any tips on the final interview with panel?
Can't wait for it to happen :)
Hi,
Just to check with you guys,
I failed my application at the second stage, Interview with AD manpower in Feb.
If i reapply again this month and I get shortlisted, do I still need to go through the SA again and do the psychometric test again ?
hey guys! how long did it take before you guys went for the 2nd interview? I went for SA on aug 5th and i have yet to hear from them. All this waiting is making me anxious!
@freestyler605 for mine it took 2 weeks. I heard it is 2-3 weeks. Maybe after next week if they still doesn't get back to you you could email them to check things out :)

hope yours will be successful till the contract signing :)
Ok... It's been a while since I commented, got a bit busy with my current job... For SPF interviews, I'm done with SA, AD and tomorrow I should be going for my Psychologist interview..... Anyone else?
Hope to see you all inside, soon!
@syah24 How long was your process from the day you start to apply online till your current call up for psychologist interview?
@rmfadh...
24 June - Careers@Gov application
9 July - Invitation to SA
15 July - Selection Assessment
13 Aug - Invitation to Dialogue Session
20 Aug - Dialogue Session
20 Aug - Call up for scheduling of Psychologist Interview
25 Aug - Psychologist Interview
Hope this answers your question! All the best!
@syah24 Wow...that was fast. Some have to go through 6 months or more till they were offered!Thanks for the info bro...btw, are u a recent pvt/local uni grad?
@rmfadh
I think I've been quite lucky... So, now I'm waiting for the Panel and Medical which are concurrent processes... I've been told it will take about 2-3weeks... I am a recent grad from an Australian uni... Yourself?
Indeed you are lucky. I am still pursuing my part time degree at SIM (Australian Uni as well). Tentatively, I am graduating in Dec 15 if I can clear my last 2 modules. So how was your psychology interview?
@syah24
Nice to see the progression for you! Hopefully the contract will be given to you asap.
Anyway, mind if I ask the current nature of your job?
Do you think it actually helped in someway or another in advancing the stages so far?
