Aug 07 COG Fiasco: Aftermath

hmm... after viewing the clip, i find that actually the mistake aren't that bad. at least not as bad as dropping the rifle.
to normal civilians, or first timers seeing the show, they might not even spot it or rather they don't really care, since it's a public performance where no one needs to pay to see it. -
i rather they drop rifle in a high risk drill then stand there look at each other doing nothing. Video and live show seems different.

there were times where their helmets came undone during the performance.
but being uncoordinated.. i think it's worse.
if you notice, they are already in the "finale" stance even before the music ended.
for good 10 secs they were not doing anything.
anyway. i guess we should let this be behind us. -

Are they the same group who did the Aug COG? Any '3rd parties' involved in the training?

Just because it is a public display means you got right to know? You think you Chief of Singapore or what?
Rights means if they don't, you can do something, you have authority to do something. What authority you have? What can you do?
Point out from me which part of the Republic of Singapore Constituition and Statutes said you have the right to question the military for a bad parade?
The change of guard parade is just a tradition, displayed publicly, even if they foul up, you hold the rank of "SH(IT)" to demand explanation.
You're the perfect example of an ugly Singaporean who thinks he has got the right to everything in the world. -
Ya lar...maybe the change of guard was malu...maybe they foul up, never practise, wadever the case, MINDEF knows and will try their best not to foul up again one lor...

This COG is watched by locals and tourists alike. Thus, they have to be mindful of their standards.
Anyway, the conclusion is quite clear for all to see.
