Is it true? Beret Question

is it true that your beret with a crest is able to so called "prevent" spirits from distrubing you and i heard from a Wo that if someone is possessed, u can use your beret to hit that person and that person will snap out of that state.
so is it true and what are ur opinions -

I only heard that some crest designs were blessed by the priests of each of the major religions in singapore. So my IC told me not to disrespect the beret/cap.

they only bless the stamp that created the crest. but if u buy frm beach rd, maybe they use diff stamp so wont work... anyway, it's suppossedly bleesed by the 10 major religions of the world.....dunno which ones though, singapore like only 4 of them...
anyway, no guarantee the crest u have was from that blessed stamp. so take ur chances ya.........

the SAF crest is blessed by the major religions in Singapore, how many religions? I'm unsure.
As such, the beret to me is a powerful tool to ward off unwanted attention.
My WO swears by it, and says in his younger days he sleeps with his beret by his side.
In fact, I have a copy of the SAF crest in my wallet...
indeed the S$1 coin and the silver portion of every Singapore note is in the shape of a ba kwa ( some eight sided thingy) which i'm told is used ward of evil. So Singaporeans are pretty safe

I'm not sure about SPF, NCC crest, but i can confirm with you the SAF crest is blessed
As for whether it is an urban legend or not, i guess it's up to you to believe whether the crest is of any use.
And why are you sleeping with the beret??
i juz noticed, me and kenn3th registered to SgF on the same day, but erm post count is very different

blessed by batches IIRC. saw a pic one of the 9 main religious leaders in sg blessing them. when they just launched the CSB, they also got the leaders to bless it. really is mass blessing. u see all the badges on thje floor, den the leaders on the stage niam keng. lol

Here is one version of this beret myth that I heard from Seniors and some other regulars.
Turn over your beret and see does it has a mark at the back. A mark that looks appears to be a B shape. They say in every intake of Officer Cadets, they will bless their crests, and some other extras.
Crests that are bought are not blessed. They can only be obtain from the stores of the SAF camps, which was once used by officers.
No idea if this is true. -

But the blessing of Officer Cadets during their Comissioning Parade is a tradition where reps from the major religions come and bless the future subalterns. -
Hmm, I know that those crest in the SPF is blessed. So is the SAF. I also know all the regimental colours are blessed, so is the National coat of arms.
One thing that I'm not sure is if the Officer's Ceremonial sword is blessed or not. Any one here knows? -
