each has its pro and con i guess.. have any of the 3 of u used the old one? the thin strap on ur shoulder will kill u after awhile.. it gets painful after long wear. and the new SBO allows u to change or add pocket or watever u guys call it. the old one u must improvise until siao.. put rubber band la, black tape la this and tat and at the end of it u worry it might drop out. i would love to try the new one thou.. after all wat u wear also sweat ma makes no diff

what's the point in creating this thread? the old SBO got people complain, now new LBV also got people complain. so no matter what new things come out, still will have people complain.

If you look at it at a point of people discussing instead of complaining, then it isnt so bad... lol.
Not complaining la, I mean in BMT mah, the brain also abit siao already, so occasionally feel like ranting here and there. -
the new LBV is not useful at all during ranges. restricts the grip u have on the butt of the rifle to your hollow part of shoulder..

LBV the pockets are call MOLLES if i'm correct.. Dun ask me what it means cuz i also dunno... THe LBV are better than the old SBO... The LBV have water bag,the pouches. The old SBO the design is somewhat inconvient... The water pouches is located at the sides and when u wan to drink,u have to bother ur buddy to help u put back after using. The grenade pouches are damn inconvient cuz i'm a left hand,and i LL have to change to using right hand. and putting it in right grenade pouch. The LBV is way better than the old wan... The water bottles is replaced by water bag. The grenades holder is juz in front of u.

had a chance to try the lpv during this yr's ndp.
but..
i still prefer to use my sbo. -
the waterbag of the LBV is a terrible idea. hard to wash and imagien this, if u are very very thirsty, is it easier to drink from waterbag or straight from a bottle?
or if someone else wants to have a drink or is injured, kena heat stroke etc, using a water bottle is so much faster and easier right? -

water bottle is much better than water bags. i tried both b4 but again each has its pro and con in diff time.. bring both lor -
