SAF Uniform Questions

You know ar... tat time went for reservist....
i went to tgl gul emart... then wanted to by the new green camo uniform with singapore tag attached to it....
the uniform i got from bmt.. was S....
so when i try on S size... wtf... its like M!!
freaking big....
i asked my friend.. he told me... tgl gul ones.. all 1 size bigger.... catered for nsmen who will grow fat and big...
hmmm
so it is true?.. the uniforms now one size bigger?.. or only tgl gul?...

i didn't know SAF had 2 suppliers of camo uniform...mine is hong sing

i think recruits till 2003 is issued with hong sing. after that is johsen.
all e-marts are selling johsen, not just tanjong gul. -

Hong Sing no. 4 the fabric tends to be softer and "furry".
Johsen's one no fur and tough.
But colour wise.. i like johsen -

the fabric dunno from where one but... Hong Sing have that "made in china" tag...
which makes it look cheap...
some things are better left unknown...

i prefer Hong Sing, cos easier to fold smart 4. i find that i cannot use the same folding method on johsen.

I've heard of Sritex too, They have a very large factory in Indonesia and make uniform for various armed forces around the world.
I remember surfing their website once. Wanted to buy their Bundeswehr uniform from them, but they don't do direct sales.
