Doubt any DIV command will want aging "inactive virgins" anymore, when they can expediently get by using those IOU cases doing make-up ICTs. But, that said, anything can happen.   My broad understanding is that MINDEF, TRADOC & all the combat divisions (3th, 6th, 9th, 21st, 25th) have their own reservist holding lists. Not sure about PDF; they might recruit liberally from the non-ops ready register (MINDEF or TRADOC).

  Those C1 & C2 are liable for the full reservist cycle. Once posted in, as I recall, they are excused from IPPT & formal parades. Any deployment limitations, as assigned by the L-Codes (L1, L2, L3), would've already been factored in when the CO worked out his nominal roll.

  My fellow Singaporean, you worry too much lar. Life's short, I would advise you to focus on your career. You will not be forgotten. Why do I say that? Because I got called up for my first ICT ... 11 years after I ORD ?!!? I repeat again, 11 years. Furthermore, I met another fellow NS man, called up 12 years after ORD.
  
  So, focus on career lar, that is more important. NS ICT will come anytime one.

  ha ha, no lar. I was Mortar Commander in Armour, you know the mortar that they put in M113 last time? When I was there, we still using M113. Then I disrupt and go abroad to study. Then injured myself over there, do surgery, come back, downgrade, posted to become admin, but because of surgery, I basically served my 3 months on MC.

  sry, was asking abt blitzonic's unit... i noe u not arty as now arty no mortar liao.

  personalli met a 21sa laojiao (dunno which mono who converted to infantry), operating a different type of mortar.
