i heard from my friend that NCC officers/teachers who were officers in the SAF get to hold their SAF rank while serving NCC.
something like, if you are a LTA (NS), your NCC rank will be LTA (NCC) upon passing out from the NCC officer course. and if the person gets promoted to CPT (NS), his NCC rank will automatically promote to CPT (NCC). doesn't work the same way vice-versa though. -
imagine a LTC(NS) or MAJ(NS) who is in real life a CPL still have to chiong sua and listen to their sergeants when they go back for reservist.

I think i heard from my teacher before, NCC teachers do not have to serve reservist.
