no but i haf heard of cases whereby recruits got kicked when they do something wrong or instructors simply dun like them..
such things happen u know. a recruit was kicked in the groin and another was kicked repeatedly at range -
once there was a recruit whu was ill treated by a sgt- he was kicked a few times by a sgt becos the sgt simply dun like him. the recruit said he will complain this ill treatment to the OO but the sgt say complain lah at most sign extras onli but going to torture the recruit even more!

Also theres this BIC where u crawl under barbed wire while ppl fire machineguns with live rounds over your head...recruits have been known to get hit once in a while but saf cover up u know? Gotta be careful at grenade range also....later officer buay song u give u primed grenade u dunno then u blow yourself up -

during my time, range was the only period the specialist dont tekan us, they wont know any time any where any recruit can go siao with 3 rounds and a rifle

TS, judging from the way you listed many irrelevant points, I suppose you have not enlisted?
You listen to stories from your friends or peers about all the scary aspect of NS and you developed some kind of pseudo hatred for SAF imagining it to be some corrupted twisted organisation out just to torture enlistees like yourself? Well you are right to think so because they are, and you are going to get it.
Assuming you can survive the change parade that you fear so much, you probably won't make it past being dunked into the water by your commanders or instructors and that is provided you survive the horrible cookhouse food (yes they have sand in the vegetables). Deaths are unexplained and common in the army after all your body can just be buried easily in the jungle (after your sergeants torture you first)
Now seriously, you have not served a day of national service. Why are you so determined to be a negative nancy? Why do you assume the system is unjust? Why are you so sure your sergeants will kick and torture you? Go in. Serve first before making your judgements here ..... provided you make it out alive of course.
