  hey wtf i heard from my fren when all regulars specs reach 1SG must draw 1 tube of blood is that true?

  I also have. But I went to donate blood to overcome my fear. Just look away when they inject. It is not painful. It is not the pain that I am afraid of, just the thought of something sharp going through my body.

  when ord draw blood can ask MO do for me, instead of the medics? Coz my vein not visible on my arm, then i scared the medics anyhow poke then have to poke a few times...
  
  so can? can specially request MO do it for me?

  the prob is for us medics to draw blood lol..aiyah 1 tube not that bad lar, just look away n about 20 sec its done. (this depends on the medic drawing the blood, just hope he dont miss .)

  With all due respect, I'm not sure how you can get to be a 1SG without having your blood taken or a single IV cannulation done by a medic over all these years.
  
  Men who have gone overseas must undergo HIV testing upon their return. I should know, because I've taken blood samples from lots and lots of men upon their return from Lancer and Crescendo.
  
  And if you have been warded in the sickbay of your unit, then chances are that you would have undergone IV cannulation.
  
  And even if you have never been overseas or warded, I would have thought that you would have been jabbed against tetanus on your enlistment day.
  
  So please take it like a man - a 23G needle in the medical center hurts a lot less than a 5.56mm round on the battlefield.

  I dunno how people can miss the vein. just.... CLENCH YOUR FINGERS as though you doing chin-up, TENSE YOUR BICEPS (Just imagine you showing off infro nt of chiobu).
  
  If vein still don't show, clench your fist, relax, clench it again a few times, the vein will show. it will come out.
  
  Btw I also don't like needles I used to complain that for blood tests at hospital/polyclinic "I pay them to poke needles in me and make me pain"
