I plan to downgrade from combat to logistic

Hey guys some of u might stil rmb me. Regular Spec signal Combat.
My "JPSDS" bond is 6 years. MTE is 5 years. Contract is 10 years.
Its been 2 years now so that meansi stil have 4 years to go.
I have this PC that is a regular also and he is making my life very stress. I am also planning to leaving the force once i reach my 6 years.
Heres the deal.... My spine have a little problem according to the experts eastern doctors. those "ZHONG YAO" doctors. and one of my knee cap... the bone is actually not in the original shape and when i walk smtimes theres pain.
I thgt of downgrading. u noe..... take an xray, ask the eastern write a letter to tan tock seng specialists..... then take the tan tock seng letter go MO tell him Sir how? even the specialists said i cannot be a combat soldier. (he wun dare to overwrite what the doctors said)
THen i can downgrade to a logistic specialist already.....
i noe many ppl will think "hey.... chao keng".....
but my sir realli siao kia wan, he nearly go to the extend ask me report every 1 hour to him. and make sure i earn my 2000. sae wana make me suffer in the unit if i dun respect his rank. Then is going become 2SG soon still treat me like a fcuking 3sg. dun give me respect at all. i rather take nsf 750 now and live a better life.
My question to u all is.... if the specialists deemed me not combat fit. Will they charge me or make me pay back all the money they have given me so far? then after that ask me surf another 3 years due to my 5 years MTE? while getting nsf pay?
Or were they b a nice guy and sae " ohh like that ar.... its ok son, u come logistic side. pay a little lower but u still own us 4 years u c cant just let u go like that" " Thank You SIr!"
I worry the latter will happen to me then go DB or have to pay back everything... so nd advise from whoever noe anitings abt this issue. i cant approach my S1 u see? his face so fierce like lookin for chance to charge ppl. -

I believe you have to check your contract clauses then.
I guess it is possible to downgrade if the injury is caused/inflamed by SAF. Just that you get lower pay. You really have to ask. Ask some of the warrants or laojiao specs. -

btw i have a regular who is also a log spec, life is very good lol. so go for it.
glad u realise signing on is not a good idea, hope this thread be a lesson for those disillusioned guys who plan to sign on. -

they sae i JPSDS meant for combat vocation. wana revocate also go infantry commandos guards arti those...... mite as well stay in signals.....
either that or they break my bond and i pay back EVEry SINGLE CENT!!!! -

Go ahead and get your medical correct. if it is a real problem, you will not be penalised for downgrading. there are a lot of jobs in the SAF, so you can still be useful till the end of your contract.
MTE is for contract service only. it basically means that your NSF (full-time)liability is counted differently, ie. not just 2 years. if you have to pay back every single cent, it would means that you are serving NSF, so should revert back to 2 years' count. Anyway, a contract is a contract, and paying back option, whilst available, cannot be compelled to take place.
have a heart-to-heart talk with your Captain. serving the Army is just another job, and there is no need for him to make life extremely unpleasant for you. you can go to your CO to take you away from your Captain. But if you encounter problems with your new Boss, it may mean that the problem lies with you. -
if he is a PC, won't his tour only be like 1-2 yrs? isn't it saf policy to rotate their staff every so often? so just endure a while more and he will be posted out?

Well, if you are medically not suited, then just downgrade.
Downgrade does not necessarily mean that you are kenging.
Besides, overstressing injuries might end you up in deeper crap.
