You are absolutely right about that and Singapore Islamic leaders are under close watch also by some other muslims.Originally posted by LazerLordz:I'm not a Muslim, but from what I've heard from my Muslim friends is that there is no prohibition against killing another Muslim if you are defending yourself and your community. There's many interpretations on what the Ummah(community) is.
Anyway, our schools of Islamic thought are mainly moderate Sunni/Hanafi, if I'm not wrong.
Meaning govt monitoring or?Originally posted by Short Ninja:You are absolutely right about that and Singapore Islamic leaders are under close watch also by some other muslims.
I would like to seee what happens when you engulf a forest in a firestorm. It is a safe to say that there won't be much oxygen to breathe, even underground.Originally posted by Short Ninja:Guerrilla groups when downed but not completely knocked out can really be a pest and a cancerous element.Look at GAM before in Acheh now PULO in Patani Thailand their job is not to win a war but to stay alive and keep killing. They use the jungle and darkness as their ally where numbers and new equipment dont really count......two or three well trained guys is enough to give hell to a platoon of soldiers. If you are out to exterminate cockcroaches, you must be a trained pest remover(metaphorically speaking) and therefore Jungle training is a must for some.
Orchard Road oreddy got camera you tink Darul Arqam dont have izzit? but jokes a side and the answer is yesOriginally posted by LazerLordz:Meaning govt monitoring or?
Are you recommending flame-throwers like the ones used in the pacific war Even if you firebomb the enemy like Vietnam, the c-o-c-kroaches would still survive.Underground got built-in ventilation also mahOriginally posted by Fingolfin_Noldor:I would like to seee what happens when you engulf a forest in a firestorm. That is not the only problem. Remeber that they can always disguise themselves as civilians and then do you have a target to kill anymore?Originally posted by Short Ninja:Are you recommending flame-throwers like the ones used in the pacific war Even if you firebomb the enemy like Vietnam, the c-o-c-kroaches would still survive.Underground got built-in ventilation also mah
You do know what Thermobaric weapons are right? Do you honestly think there's a lot of oxygen left in a forest that is literally a giant bonfire?Originally posted by Short Ninja:Are you recommending flame-throwers like the ones used in the pacific war Even if you firebomb the enemy like Vietnam, the c-o-c-kroaches would still survive.Underground got built-in ventilation also mah
They proved to be very effective against the Taliban in Afganistan and the war in Iraq.Good for deep caves and tunnels but I dont think it is in the SAF Arsenal yet.Any EOD want to comment? I think better notOriginally posted by Fingolfin_Noldor:You do know what Thermobaric weapons are right? Please take a bus to CMPB and sign on as anything when you reach 18Originally posted by chanjyj:That is not the only problem. Remeber that they can always disguise themselves as civilians and then do you have a target to kill anymore?
Not everyone is as stupid as the Iraq fanatics who DECLARE themselves to be geurillas. I'm sure if we ever fight a war locally, our neighbours aren't so stupid....
Let's stop all this war lah.Originally posted by Short Ninja:Please take a bus to CMPB and sign on as anything when you reach 18
My bad,Sorry! Lets give him and Martin a break but what i dont understand is why during NS dowan to ask questions wait until ROD then ask.... so the answer is.....take a bus to CMPB and sign on -lahOriginally posted by LazerLordz:Let's stop all this war lah.
Another forumnite has served his NS with this guy.So let's give him the benefit of the doubt.
Martin didn't serve NS with me. he was RSAF. I just happen to know him. Sorry about that, but I don't want to elaborate more.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Let's stop all this war lah.

Sometimes you learn it is better to keep your mouth shut and don't ask questions during NS. Do what you are supposed to do, and don't do extra or less. If you think I haven't done my NS, so be it. Let's not start a flame war.Originally posted by Short Ninja:My bad,Sorry! Yah, I know my questions very "simplistic", but the fact is although I have/had friends in HQ CDO, Signals, RSAF, Navy, Guards (I know got alot lol).. all of them are... dunno anything.Originally posted by Short Ninja:Just kidding with you cuz you make us laugh with the questions

And as for me, I had a real obscure post where I didn't see much of the army.
