how to compare when I personally believe nobody here has been to every single unit...for a period long enough to feel esprit de corp?Originally posted by Theballstopshere:I know this is pretty subjective but I believe some units have very strong culture and tradition instilled by their COs. I for one believe that Armour has one of the strongest esprit de corp among the various units. Maybe Infantry too.
I agree with you but maybe from personal experiences in their own unit, people can be able to draw conclusions. Take for example myself, when I was in 30 SCE I did not feel a sense of togetherness in the unit. There wasn't much bonding sessions, be it unit anniversaries, or inter-company games and stuff. Everyone was just functioning as an individual.Originally posted by Xcert:how to compare when I personally believe nobody here has been to every single unit...for a period long enough to feel esprit de corp?
You dont just go through a recruit stage training and call it esprite de coup,it has to develope over the years like any human relationship. To say that the Commandos or Guards have it and others dont is also very wrong.Originally posted by gaoxingdcf:BMTC School 1... 'E' Coy.... I was from there and the sense of brotherhood and the esprit de corp is there...

I personally would strike 30 SCE out - definitely not one unit that has a strong bond.
