Because Singapore always talk about being above board, commercial decision. Don't want to put in the human element.Originally posted by norm:First, Thailand. Then, Indonesia. Now Malaysia. Why they always target Spore?

Why should we give a damn when they give us sub-standard immmigration work to us...
you're a little too quick to judge the guy. if you enter malaysia on a frequent basis, there are many incidents where your passports do not get chopped, or there is no one at the counter. and it has always been 'okay' to just go straight through, if you know how the malaysian system works.Originally posted by scabstermooch:Precisely. TBH I find his story very suspicious. For some reason he drove to a counter w/o anybody in it. Then he drove on and gave his passport to a booth collector who understandably returned it to him (probably thinking he is a little thick - turns out she/he was right. The guy is thick). Then he decided everything is fine and drove on?

Not at all. IMO, people here are too quick to believe him. It is never OK to just enter a country without getting permission to enter. It is called illegal immigration. Singapore regularly sends illegal immigrants to jail and for caning.Originally posted by nismoS132:you're a little too quick to judge the guy. if you enter malaysia on a frequent basis, there are many incidents where your passports do not get chopped, or there is no one at the counter. and it has always been 'okay' to just go straight through, if you know how the malaysian system works.

KNN, the singaporean kum gong never get his passport chopped...shouldn't he stop his car and wait or get out of his car and go to another immigration counter?Originally posted by R3SsH|n:knn...is the malaysian custom people never do their job...now wanna jail our people?!
if the counter has no one there...shouldn't they close block that way with a gate or something?
i really hope the singapore government step in and do something about it...
If that's the case, Malaysia will be the 1st in the world that cannot anyohow like it dun stamp visa...Originally posted by scabstermooch:KNN, the singaporean kum gong never get his passport chopped...shouldn't he stop his car and wait or get out of his car and go to another immigration counter?
I really hope the malaysian government resist all attempts to get him off man. He did the crime, now he should do the time.
See how it works...

Which country in the world other than Malaysia has a immigration offical that at his or her own wish not to stamp the 30 days entry visa?Originally posted by scabstermooch:Please re-structure the sentence in italics? I cannot respond if I cannot be sure what the sentence means!
There was no one at the counter (according to the Sgrean). It is not the case that the immigration official took and passport and did not stamp it.Originally posted by sbst275:It's all corrruption
Yes the 2 person should have checked...
But why is it the joker that did the clearance not stamp the entry visa and ended up escaping scott free
No wonder there was an article claiming that 8m Singaporeans did not leave Johor and they said cos of jam, so proper records was not done...
If that's the case, why the immigration fellow did not even remind?Originally posted by scabstermooch:There was no one at the counter (according to the Sgrean). It is not the case that the immigration official took and passport and did not stamp it.
