Hi guys,
Saw this thread and it really helps to prepare for my enlistment.
But i still have some questions,
1. Do i need to buy more T-shirts like PT training vest, Shirt Utility Grey for my BMT? My cousins and friends asked me to buy at least 3 more for each so i wouldn't need to wash that much. I'm not sure how does the PT vest and the Shirt utility grey looks like so i assume the PT vest is the singlet while the latter is the normal grey t-shirts we saw commonly in beach roads.
2. I'm enlisting on 14th of July into BMTC 1 at 0930 hrs, so what time do i need to be at pasir ris interchange? My parents are driving, so is it advisable to for them to drive me to SAF terminal or better for them to park near the bus interchange and take the transport provided. FYI: There's bus service to the terminal at 0830hrs to 0845hrs.
3. What company would be i assigned to? I heard company's culture differs, so i'm praying for the slackest company.

2. Its better to park at PR and take the bus... cos at SFT, there will be limited parking space.... Unless of course they are just dropping you off.... Be there at SFT around 845... If you take bus then follow timing...

Btw, I've saw some of you mentioned Admin Shirt. I did not find this item in the list provided by mindef. May i know what it is? My friend say it's the same thing as the shirt utility grey which is the grey t-shirt with the word 'army' printed at the back. -

hi. i'm enlisting in 2 years as i now in poly 1. Just to ask,
When would i be required to do the fitness/health test or whatever its called(i'm a noob)? Also, my bmi is at 30. which is darn high. to get to bmi=24, i need to lose like 20kg!
Can anyone teach me how to lose that amount of weight in either a year or 2 (depending on wad year i nid to take tests which i do not know)? Thx alot! -
common sense.... for best result.... EXCERCISE AND FOOD DIET CONTROL...
or lazy pple way.... = pills, pills, pills...
i believe when u in school that time, u must have keng the TAF club/ PE lessons/health education sessions rite?
the army fitness test is the same test in secondary school... napfa but minus sit and reach static station.
for poly, last semester of year 3 then take napfa for enlistment consideration. -

I heard from my friend who is currently in BMT, he told me the july batch will be using the rocky hill camp. Sian... My uncle say the camp very famous but i don't know famous for what. -

one question,
before my 1st bookout, there is a list of item i need to buy before i book in again.
all the item can be purchase in emart, and some of the item they already issue to us(e.g socks, camo cream), so do i still have to buy it? today is my book in day and i haven buy yet.
will get F by those sgt anot? -

hey guys I received my PES status as PES B. But my BMI is like 26.6 but I never tio PES BP. Like that how ah? Will die during bmt or not? + my napfa failed. So most likely when will go for NS? I'm taking A levels this year.

Any BMI above 28 is considered BP already. Just hope that you don't gain weight from now till you enlist.
