can some people tell me more about bmtc sch 1? will be enlisting there in march! which "dirty" places to avoid, what's interesting and hows life there etc, thanks!

Anyway, if not wrong, u should have a drinks vending machine at your company 4th floor. so remember to bring lots of coins. Also, there's a recreation room where u can watch tv, or play pool. I think what's inside the room defers for every company.
As for what "dirty" things to avoid, can't really say, since Tekong is full of these things. For me, i will bring along an amulet with me at all times which my fren got for me at a temple.
As for life there in tekong, basically every day is spent doing exercises to build up ur stamina, strength, endurance etc. Then, sometimes u will given lectures on how 2 be a soldier etc. Field camp, shooting range, grendade throwing are also things u will be going through. And not forgetting road march, which increases gradually in distance, to prepare u for ur POP day. At night, usually it will be your own free time to do the things u want, but be prepared for spot checks, and also bored sergeants who decide to tekan ur platoon and make u run up and down.
In short, my advice to u will be to keep ur eyes and ears open at all times, and do what is required. Go in with an open heart, and do not be negative at all, or else the only one who suffer is you. Missing ur family, frenz and other half is common, but at least there are 40 others in ur platoon who feels the same way as u do. -

Anyway, RP= Regimental Police. Its those people stand at gate, take their M-16, and supposedly the first line of defence against intruders in ur camp. -
This FAQ gives me alot of information. btw, i'm short sighted, do i need to have swimming googles that have "degree" of my eye sight ?? or a normal one will do?
