Inconsistencies in the Bible

  so many blatant inconsistencies in the bible. example earth was created in 6 days by god. how can that be? why not god create in an instant, why 6 days lol. meaning 6 days of 24 hours non stop working lol

  Ya there are a few.

  For example

  In one verse, Jesus denies being God. People praised him to be good. But he denies it saying "Why call me good? Only God is good"

  In some verses, we see Jesus being referred to as "divine".

  So it can be quite opened to interpretation.

   

  Also some verses say we dont pay for the sins of our forefathers.

  But some verses say yes we do.

  Wow, Jesus asking people why they called Him good = denial that He is God?

  Like I said, a troll is a troll indeed.

  There is one more apparent inconsistency, which my expastor himself also acknowledged.

  2 Samuel 8:3-4 says "David smote also Hadadezer...and took from him...seven hundred horsemen..."

  1 Chronicles 18:3-4 says "David smote Hadarezer...and took from him...seven thousand horsemen..."

  One says 700, one says 7000.

  Some christian theologians have also acknowledged this to be an inconsistency/error. They said it could be an error of the scribes.

  There are a few more of such cases, I think?
