Anyway, the Bible teaches that God UPHOLDS the universe by the power of His Word. So from a Christian point of view, everything revolves around God. In case you don't know, even history is split between BEFORE CHRIST and AFTER CHRIST!

No no. For the thousandth time, I have told you, I am ok with everyone with their own beliefs. I dont require anyone to "convert" or "subscribe" to atheism. The world is beautiful because there are hindus, muslims, sikhs, christians, taoists, buddhists, atheists, spiritists, animists, etc etc.
WHy would I want to? My answers are always "Live and let live, and lets have a fair and objective perspective. And lets see from different perspectives"
You are the one always trying to "convince" or "impose" your views and beliefs on others.

The world is diverse because we have people of different stripes and backgrounds. But do you think the world is beautiful with the likes of David Koresh, Applewhite, Jim Jones etc who have their own beliefs?
If you are really "live and let live" you wouldn't be creating threads trying to undermine Christianity. You are obviously trying to convince and impose upon us your reasons for leaving the faith and that we should.

It's a fact of life. There is reality (which is), and there are many ways to look at it. There is one objective reality but a variety of ways to view the world. The three main lenses to view the world is
1. Theism
2. Atheism
3. Pantheism
Each lens used will determine how one answers the ultimate questions of life. There will be a worldview that is correct. It's like prescriptive lenses. There are the letters on the wall (objective reality) and your vision is blurred. What lenses are you going to use to see those words? Or what colored lenses are you going to use.
Something for you to think about. And you may wish to google the word "worldview" and learn more. Even reasonable.atheist uses that term.

Why do you call me extreme again? The word "beautiful" is really subjective. I prefered the word "diverse" which I think is a more appropriate one. And why so defensive? I am only asking you if you also think the world is beautiful with the religions founded by those I mentioned. I don't think you would. Me too. That's my point.

Let's respect each other beliefs and live and let live. There's no need to persuade or want others to subscribe to your beliefs.
The whole world would be so boring if everyone was an atheist or christian!

It's OK lah, better to "fight" with words than with swords, ya?
Anyway, I think we should all try to remain cordial and not use words that are clearly intended to cause offense. Of course sometimes even the most polite words or carefully chosen words can cause offense, but when the intent or motivation is not there I think we should cut some slack.

1. Beautiful is subjective. I neither agree nor disagree. I would prefer to say that the world is diverse because of that.
2. If there's no need to persuade others to subscribe to one's beliefs, why are you then doing that here opening threads?

sure you can propagate your faith, but then the method of propagating is seriously the issue here.
If I were to preach to you that, my religion is the truth, all other religions are false and satanic. If you wish to go to heaven, it is by accepting my prophet that you are able to go to heaven when you die. You do not find this offensive not to mention degrading to your religion, not to mention your intelligence?
