Sadly atheists like Tcmc has been brainwashed to believe the impossible, like the universe made itself or that life just came from nonliving matter on its own. -
Topics like these always invite various groups of ppl in. Some genuinely to discuss, some take it as a sudden personal challenge or insult into thier own belief and really take it personally.
I feel like its like a trend in sgforums especially in E.H and A.A. Eventhough they are different topics, the attacks are the same. Why cant people just comment or give an opinion short of insulting the other ?
Which brings me to this conclusion that, as long as it is anything about "Atheists" or "Existence", thread is just going to blow up. I suggest perhaps topics other than such. Like... for example, a biblical verse that is subject to varios interpretations, or like the discussion of the 1500 lost years of Christianinty immediately after Jesus's death.
I think its just much more interesting than this.

Nothing wrong if Tcmc believes in these. To each their own. The one God theory may not apply or accepted by some, really gotta accept it, respect it.
I have no problem accepting christians who practise their faith faithfully and live by what they believe. I also have no problem accepting buddhists, muslims, hindu and any other religious people who believe in their own religions and practise them for the good, harmony, peace and with respect to people from other religions.
I do have to put up with some nuisance that affects the peace and work when one keeps preaching the word of God and quote bible verses but the behaviour is the other way round. At work this person seems more interested to use company's resources to do her church work and put doing church work as priority in workplace. The work quality sucks and out of kindness for reason not to delay the project work I helped to clear her shit. But she does not appreciate it. Old bitch! Sigh!

I understand where you are coming from. While it is unfortunate that it often times become a blow of words, I think most seasoned debaters can stomach some form of repartee. But I agree we should try to minimse personal jabs. Point noted.
Personally I think the issue of God's existence is foundational and logically precede any discussion of Bible passages, otherwise it becomes just an academic exercise in literature which has no real life value. I mean, no one discuss the truth value of "Twilight" novels right?
I would be happy discussing Bible passages provided atheists do not interfere because they do not share our belief system and will only mess up the topic.

I never said that everyone who rejects Christianity is by default an atheist. But it cannot be denied that the arguments used by atheists are also the ones commonly employed by unbelievers. So attacking atheism is IMO killing two birds with one stone.
I see my contribution as knocking down the walls of objections that atheists have set up here. If there is a wall I am building, it is a wall of defense of the faith, from those who attack from outside and those inside. I am communicating Christian and Biblical truth in a setting where all sorts of distortion about the faith are often found.

You see a duty to knock down the walls? It's ok. Atheist walls are strong. The walls that new Christians put up are frail and they fall soon compared to Atheists'.
Not that I want to do this to you, but in Singapore there is an agreement on proselytizing that you are not respecting. Unfortunately in Singapore atheist rights are not protected but they should not be treated any different.

I don't know if anyone has asked this question on this topic before, but let me pose it: WHY do non-believers of Christianity have to go to Hell? If it even exists? Isn't God ever-loving and ever-forgiving? Isn't He omni-present? Isn't He all-powerful? Didn't He send his Son to die for us? Shouldn't that cover non-believers as well? If non-believers have to go to Hell, does this mean ALL souls go to Hell? Since there are other religions which state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. Right or wrong?

Christians believe non-christians go to hell because it's their religion and their beliefs.
It does not apply to everyone though and is not a universal truth.
Every religion has its own "criteria" to go to heaven.
For example, in Islam, you MUST be a muslim to go to heaven too.
In some forms of Taoism, you must do good, believe in the Gods, pray to them to be able to enter heaven.
In Hinduism, obedience to the Hindu Gods is a must to gain salvation too!
