ya they are number 1 being the deluded lot. they are number one in terms of having an elephant thick skin where no bullets can penetrate, go tell others their religion is satanic and false and their religion is the truth. hell ya, they are number 1 in terms of scandals, just look no more than the pedophilia in the vatican. they are number 1 in terms of MLM and using fear, the way they recruit newbies. they are number 1 in terms of having lavished churches and auditoriums by way of tithes. I am wondering if there are any golden tap or golden toilet bowl in their premises.

Its not about the religion on the whole. Its the methods that christians use, they seem to condemn other religions. And thats untatsy to many of us.

Generally, I feel that most are quick to judge.
Do some of us rem our first experience with Chilli? Do we hate it then? Do we generalise that all chilli are bad? A resounding "yes", right? then what happens later when we begins to realise what chilli is all about?
I dont deny some zealous christians do step over the lines, and I would expect most people to ignore them. I, myself a christian have been approached, and I gave them my best wishes. No need to be mean/condemn.
For those brothers & sisters in christ who visit these forums, I just hope that we keep an open mind, at the same time, we know the battle is already won.No need to fuel/incite. Cool.

Chilli ? Sure we dont hate chilli, but there comes a promoter keep pestering you about chilli, all those actions made us have some untasty impression of chilli. It just made us wonder, why dint other brands of chilli have promoters promoting but only this specific brand ? Not talking about their methods used to promote their chilli.
So in the end is the chilli bad ? I dono. Is the promoter wrong ? Maybe. Is the tatics used annoying and unpleasing ? Hell yes.

You would be put off too in such a scenario.
He did mention that there are Christians who overstep the boundary, and if it is not clear enough, some of the Christians here have already expressed that. I myself have had to deal with persistant calls by one or two fellow Christians to change church even though I was happy and settled in my own. I explicitly told them they shouldn't do that and said if it went on, we would need to stop being friends.
Again I am repeating this but I truly wish for it to happen. That you and others like yourself would meet the Christians who aren't too pushy and don't conform to stereotypes. Do be aware there are those of us who respect your right not to believe.
Also, the concept of Evangelism should be that we aren't do it for ourselves. You can say how much it's not true at least not for all Christians, but the original idea and intention was good.
If anything, it is not that we wish harm for you, but rather we try to mean well.

those christians are being brain washed to an extent that they believed that they are trying to save you from going to eternall hell. at least this intention is good, but whether this is the truth is another matter altogether. perception is reality to them, but is this reality? hell no to non believers and other faith mind you.
