Why so many people disliked christianity?

due to their absurd preachings like other faiths are satanic and going to hell. and a lot of christians go spread the word around like MLM.
its no wonder so many people of other faiths and free thinkers are so disgusted by these.

You don't seem to realise that you can dislike the Christians and can spout any vulgarities about them. And nothing happens to you.
With Christianity you can express your disapproval, be insulting or joke about it.
Try that with other religions.
It is a matter whether you are brave enough.
Lots of people are brave with Christians.

The bible already said it so...one of which is mentioned in John 15: 20
20Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
The world is controlled by the prince of the world, satan, he will want to prosecute us, as our faith are diagonally opposite to what he wants. Thus, there will be a lot of people whom will hate us

Hi Totti, the part about going to hell if you don't believe, is part of our belief system. To tell you otherwise would be a lie on our part. However, if you do not believe in our heaven or our hell, it doesn't matter in that sense.
To emphasize as well, it is not that we wish or curse you to go to hell, which has a very different meaning. Rather, it is something we do not want to see.
There is also more to Christianity than just the concept of heaven and hell.
I do hope you will meet more Christians that do not conform to the stereotypes that is mentioned by some people here.

more than heaven and hell and god and satan? what else is there besides all these?every religion have their own preachings. its best if you can stick within your community and dun go around telling people u r going to hell or your religion is satanic, thanks. otherwise its going to backfire. if some christian tell me this, I tell him/her to hell with your teachings. absurdity to the max, no doubt.

For example, things like how to live your daily life, how to treat your family. It is also about community and fellowship (something not unique to Christians or church-goers). Like I said, if I told you Christianity did not state non-believers go to hell, it would be a lie. I do though feel the need to be careful if ever to tell people this.
To view all other religions as satanic is not something all Christians do either. Something i hope you can understand.
Meanwhile, there are Christians who even though the belief system may differ, respect your respective beliefs or choice not to believe at all. I myself respect your right not to believe in any God or any divine being.
The part about being scared of hell in order to believe, well that is not what happens for all Christians either. It can also be about embracing God and what he has done for us. Finally...someone who actually makes sense...
Personally, I don't give a damn about who believes in what....but one thing the Christians have to note is....sometimes they are over-zealous in promoting their religion.
This is also the reason why most people are pissed, because in the process of promoting Christianity, Christians tend to disregard other religions and the listener's beliefs/feelings.
And who cares! We're all gonna die and find out eventually!

Just to add, Ghandi himself drew inspiration and teachings from the bible among drawing from other faiths as well. He ultimately never converted to any other and remained a Hindu.
I have met in real as well many people who do not believe in the concept of salvation, but they do take reference from other things in the bible.

I think you should explain yourself, which church have been spreading their words like MLM. What have they say to you? And you have been making a sweeping statement that most Christians are bad, and they force non-believer into their religion.
