of course minor issue to you because your life is not at stake. look at how animals fear for their life when they are about to be slaughtered.
fairyfairy, u obviously still dun get it, do u? dun u realise tat the focus of buddhism and chrisianity is very diff from our replies? abt wad u see and feel...do u realise tat our upbringing from family, ppl ard us will influence our feelings and tots? we dun onli follow a book, we also follow how we have been brought up...u have no right to say onli u go by wad u see and feel...truth is, we feel and see things differently...
i give u an eg...u tell me wads ur answer...if today, i rob the rich and give to the poor wad i robbed, have i done gd or bad? let me 1st warn u in advance tat wadever answer u give, there will always be ppl on the other side and can u say for sure they are wrong? maybe. but take note they can/will also say u are wrong.
to add on to my answer to ur qn...its not tat we dun acknowledge the sufferings they go thru and the killings but its cos tats not teh focus of christianity...buddhism teaches a lot abt sufferings by the 4 noble truths but christianity ackowledges sufferings but doesnt put emphasis on it. it empahsizes on other things which buddhism doesnt. the bottonline is, u cannot compare buddhism and christianty the way u have been doing so cos the starting point for both religions is very diff...
i can tell u for sure, fairyfairy tat if i presented my full anwer to u starting from the fact tat animals have no soul, u will at least see why i say tat makes a diff to how buddhisma nd christianity view sufferings of animals although u may not agree...however, like i said many time, i will not publicise my answers...i will onli give u hints and lead u on...if u still cannot see where i am getting at, then maybe all i can say is: u have no ''affinity'' wif christianity...
