nowadays everybody claims that they were ex-buddhists without knowing what is a true buddhist. the motive is to mislead others that many buddhists have converted to chritians. this is called evil motive.
those who don't eat meat are evil and those who kill animals and eat meat are kind ?what a stupid logic is that. please explain how these people are evil in front of god ?
do you mean chritians only go for nice food and allow to waste food if the food does not taste nice ? when there's a famine, i think you will grab offerings from the buddhists and toaists.

evil in front of god only but not really true evil like christians
there is evil in front of god, and there is true evil
Oh.. so what laurence82 is saying is that christians are the epitome of evilness manifested on this planet = true evil.
o.k
what else ?
And u guys actually think Vegansoosiang is a true blue christian ? U guys can claim people not understanding buddhism and what constitutes true buddhism but cant seem to acknowledge the fact that there are equally so called christians who are not true christians themselves without knowing what constitutes a true christian.
Guess yous all can only and only want to see the side of the coin u want to see.
Stuck in this captivity of negativity.
sad sad s.o.bs. )
whether or not veganwassit is a true christian is irrelevant
nobody deny there are so called christians who are not true christians, i dont see this being discussed or denied..so what gives?
that people are being blasted for what they did not say?

again, looking at christianity from the basis of gd works and again looking at christianity not based on wad it teaches but based on wad buddhism teaches...if i had looked at buddhism based on how christianity teaches, i wouldnt have understood the fundamentals of buddhism...

fairy is a buddhist. Buddhist should not comment on other ppl's religions. Buddhism teaches religion peace and harmony.

Yes. he/she looked at christianality with a buddhsit viewpoint. Thats y he/she told us animals suffered when being killed.
In christianality we dun focus on animals. We focus on God.

you are right
on the other hand, pasta rony has every right to lambast Buddhism
nice fair game, everything i do is right, everything other people do is wrong
to Stardust:
i noe fairyfairy is more towards buddhism. but wad i have been telling her is not to approach christianity via buddhism cos both religions are different fundamentally. the starting point are alredi diff so as u progress further, the differences will deviate more and more...tats y in one of my ealier posts, i told her tat its impt to approach any religion based on its teachings and not based on wad u believe...for eg, i dun approach buddhism from the basis of creation cos i noe buddhism doesnt subscribe to tat...imagine wad would happen if i approach buddhism along the line of grace and creation? i will end up like fairyfairy...making statements at buddhism tat are not tat relevant to buddhism cos they are based on christianity....

i'm more towards buddhism though i'm not a buddhist because it is more logical. do you mean christians' and buddhists' eyesights are different. animals suffer when being slaughtered is a fact but chritians refuse to acknowledge the fact.

Yes I am christian. to us animals have no souls.

I love animals too.But I believe to treat an animal better than a fellow human being who is starving is a sin.
perhaps if that starving human being prays to a god who dont exist then its not a sin

well, animals have a soul or not is not an issue here, we are talking about suffering in the process of killing. if not what is SPCA for ? i close my case here.

now we are talking about when there is a choice. i think when you are starving, you will also eat offering food no matter how your religion forbid it.
“All sentient beings came from the same origin. Through myriad reincarnations, all sentient beings have been relatives of each other. How can we eat the meat of our relatives?”
The debate will be never ending. People have different beliefs and experiences, dont question anyones beliefs, no harm in trying to understand another religion's beliefs.
dont blast other people reglion and get caught by ISD
do it in a private party

Agreed. Exactly.

animals have soul or not is not an issue? haha...see wad i mean? u dunno where christianity is coming from...why dun we ask stardust if he agrees wif u on this...

no point arguing. if you guys think any living things that you believe have no souls and you have every right to kill, torture and eat them, then i have nothing to say. i believe what i see and feel and not just listen to what is being told in the book.

weather they gt souls or not is never an issue.
This is an minor issue. Our focus is on God.
