govern your own hse first
The point and message is don't stereotype, be it against church-goers, or members of other faiths or towards people who don't believe any ay all.

this kind of abuse have been going on since the very 1st day thousands of years ago.
yeah, catholic priests and nuns. i have good impression of them since young. may be i'm too naive. much to learn. not long ago, i met a catholic father, he said it is ok for catholics to hold joss sticks if need to and my friends who are born catholics also eat offering food. they are unlike protestants. they respect other religions. i find born catholics are not so arrogant. that's my personal opinion.
i find catholics better to talk to than protestants
after all, Catholicism is the original religion, not Protestantism...alot of things got changed at whim along the way

Yes, what you say is very true.
There is good and bad among all grouops of people, hence that is why we shouldn't stereotype. And for whatever mistakes or wrong-doing we committ, we should and have to answer for it as well.
Even though I don't assume to speak on their behalf or for all church-goers in general (whether Catholics or Christians), it does not mean these people should not be accountable for their actions.

A very timely and informative article to bring some balance to this issue from a Catholic viewpoint...

I also ask for your prayers for His healing on all the affected, especially the victims and perpetrators. Let us also be mindful of not doing the work of the evil one by seeking to divide and destroy the rest of which is good.
