If they really said Christian go heaven, then how come those terminally ill christian still desperately see doctor? Those gonna die should be happy wat? Right? After all, they all go heaven. Why want to compete with those non christians in the hospital bed and medicine?

erm, the extreme christians would say don't need see doctor,just pray to jesus to get healed.
Crying is human nature,nothing to do with religion or faith.

If you walk around the hospital especially those going to mati, there are also christian patients. Might as well go home and wait to go heaven. Let those non christian who want to get well have the chance to life again. Tio bo?

Whether the patients are christians or non christians the hospital treat them all the same.

Anyway, that is my thought lah. Just come into my mind and posted here.
Everybody regardless of chris or non chris wll want to get well if sick or very very ill.

When ones recovery, they will thank their god.
Nothing wrong with that. To each belief.
A recovery = a family happiness.

Children of god are referring to christians not none christians.God is spiritual Father and is above all that includes earthly/physical fathers and mothers

The origin of religions, how they came about
Primitive ancient people that time were living in caves, hills, lakes and mountains etc, they do not know that natural phenomenon like lighting, thunders, earthquakes, floods etc are not acts of god. their lifestyles were hunting, eating, protecting their tribes and procreation. so they begun to think that there must be a god, if not who are creating all these natural diasters and killing them. so they begun praying to Sun, Moon, rivers, the sky to seek their protection and create less disasters. they thought that by praying and worshipping, the Sun/Moon god will be appeased and will bless their tribe. as people evolved and the worshipping progressed, some even took it to sacrifising animals and later humans to appease the god. Here the concept of god was based on fear, as they are unable to understand these are not acts of god, but natural phenomenon.
now that modern science has revealed that natural diasters occured due to nature and not otherwise. but modern men are still deepy religious. they prayed and worshipped god also out of fear and greed. some wants to strike 4-D, toto, win football matches and blessed them to gain promotion, start businesses etc etc.

I find the idea of heaven and hell completely ludicrous, the more i think of it, the more ridiculous it gets

I find it weird some parts of the bible say that there is an afterlife while some parts say that there is no afterlife, until judgement day where all the dead will be revived for judgement.

I don't intend on entering heaven. I want to go to hell. so this thread to me is just another chit chat thread. Heaven is not everything everytime to everyone you know.

I will definately go hell to serve my punishment term.....before reborn again as a better human being.
