Not really 100% true. Anyway, not 100% of any religion teaching are false, neither 100% correct either. I can only say some. That all.

Any arrest is unlikely. The ISD's main objective is to maintain the peace in Singapore, jailing a prominent pastor of a megachurch for making insensitive comments about Buddhism will cause more problems then it solves. Unless the pastor was openly calling for riots or attacks on Buddhism, then that is a different story.
Instead they are doing the smart thing. By allowing the religious community to work this issue out in a peaceful way and extend understanding and forgiveness they are fostering inter-faith communication, which serves the purposes of the ISD and Singaporean community in general.
So all I can say is, you can scream all you want and bray for blood... but it ain't going to happen... not in this case at least.

the incident sets a good precedent and a gentlest warning to any future offence of the kind....
it was such good timing and opportunity to take this case as a good example and show all Singaporeans...
this would be a much quoted case in the religious context at least in Singapore...
the govt is good at this kind of tactic...one stone hits all to show all

This is a forum for the Christians. As long as majority of these Christians do not agree to Pastor Tan's behavior I am relieved.

He loves to be at war which is so contrary to the teaching of christianity. In christianity, it is taught that christians should love their enemies, they are to treat them with God;s love but he is doing all the opposite. -

I hope more will reveal what these christians and church leaders said about other religions. Then we will see govt sending spies to their churches to check on them.

christians can never be proud of their history, thats for sure. look at the persecutions, wars and bloodshed, waged in the name of god. whats the use of having a religion when your followers are intolerant towards other faith. they have the cheek to accuse other religions as false lol. marvellous and brilliant isnt it. wherever is the proof that god exists still lingers.

There are people who still believe in miracles. It is based on faith that these people believe, oops I need to correct - some people don't base on faith, some people accepted the faith because their loved ones are christians. -

I am not so sure about this pal. all if not most christians reckoned, not believe that other religions are satanic. they reckoned non believers are going to hell. so you will see historical figures like confucian, buddha, gandhi are in hell now.
