can't blame this pastor lah.............if he doesn't belittle and ridicule other religions, how can he continue to fleece the christians ? how is he gonna pay for his new condo and 911 Turbo.............
of all the religions, Buddhism is the only one that has no conflict with science.............in fact, new scientific studies always prove Buddhist teachings to be true............
Christianity and other religions ? the direct opposite...............LOL

i save my pity for retards like him
Enci is wrong, religion is always wrong no matter what religion it is. the pastor can report to IMH for treatment.

u can post in Buddhism forum ah
as for the pastor, hope he rot in hell
as a roman catholic and a fellow Christian (in that sense). i was distastefully surprised when Pastor Tan mentioned "demonic" in reference to Buddhism... i admit there are certain logic in what he said about reincarnation and how could we learn from the past when we don't even know our past life, however to deem it in reference to demonic context seems a little untactful and what has stemmed from that comment is the unhappiness of people from other religion.
in respect to other religions, i would say a "no touch, no reference and no criticism" to be the safest way. we shouldn't take for granted the implications that might happen due to his comment.
yes, i do agree that if this was done indoor and within the church itself, it's a private issue but to have it published on youtube, it has now become a public issue. i believe that it is the pastor's duty and responsibility to remind his church not to disseminate their educational materials and videos online for the public's perusal. just like a confidential company report, we don't go out and publish it online for the world and our rivals to see.
keep it low profile and keep away from trouble.

the pastor and that fake buddhist were uttering nonsense.
1) the pastor also has not been to heaven ? he also does not know exactly what is heaven, so he is also blind leading the blind. he is just talking about himself

2) the pastor said we cannot learn from past life because we cannot remember. when a person drink driving and knock down another person (quote from another forumer), can he tell the judge he cannot learn anything from this incident because he cannot recall what he had done ? karma tells you what you had done wrong in your past life.
3) that fake buddhist did not even understand the basic buddhism. buddhists believe fate can be changed. that fake buddhist talk about powerful than god, what nonsense, i read a lot about buddhism nowadays, nothing says about this.
4) lay buddhists know what is nirvana but that fake buddhist said his master did not know what is nirvana. something very wrong with him.

Umm, hello people , this is nothing new, typical of christians to say and behave such. As a ex christian I know what they are taught. In christianity, other than worship God, worship others are considered satanic. To christians a lot of things can be satanic. Yoga is satanic, japanese floral arrangement is satanic, gongfu is satanic, fortune telling is satanic, and the list goes on, the list is endless.
Rony's church is Lighthouse at Tampines which is well known for healing. I respect some christians but not all christians. For people like Rony and many other christians who condemn other religions I don't respect. They are full of bullcrap. It is arrogance that motivates them to say and behave such.
So people, if you wanna accept christianity do take your time to explore more into it before going ahead. I did not allow myself to find out more about it.
Before I read this, actually I hold high regard of him for I heard how good he was. Now , not any more

It is foolish of him to build wall instead of bridges

Moreover the audience chose to sit there and listen out of their own freewill, if they don't like what they hear, they can always leave, nobody is forcing them to stay and listen isn't it? Also, i don't think he is inciting anything against buddhism, merely stating his views about the concepts of buddhism. Why doesn't anyone say anything when people mock the teachings of Christianity about eternal life in Jesus Christ but start a big hoo-haa when Christians raise doubts about other religion's teachings? Double standards or hypocritical? ^.-
It is because the god you are worshipping holds such high regard about christians this and christians that. So don't point fingers. Christians are expected to be different from others so non believers can see the light in them, can see Christ in them and be touched and ultimately accept Christ.
so what you said about is absolutely invalid.

Let me tell you, I have met many christians and mature christians don't talk like you.
I felt that this type of preaching is detrimental to Singapore's religious harmony. Some of the people here in the forum are really looneys and are generally not taken serious. However Pastor Rony is a religious leader and one whose words are taken seriously and literally. Saying bad words about other religions provoke bad feelings, segregate the people and people can become emotional and more extreme. Maybe the authority should be informed of this

To me and my friend God is Satan and Satan is God, period.
hahahahha.
Have sufficient sufferings for me to say that. Amen!

And I'm not comparing what he said to Islamic extremists, it's about your view on his speech.
Well, I do experienced Christians getting all worked up and hostile when I challenged the teachings of Christianity. Funny that you don't, since you're posting in here.
Wow, is it, so I am thankful I did not survive during that time in Europe, if not I would have gotten it when I denounced christianity with pride. hallelujah, great to give up on christianity, amen.
