  The church's money and financial statements also on the internet for all to see...the church executive members made up of several hundreds has voting and questioning rights too...everything is done properly and legally la.

  THey just need a building to house their members, 27,000 of them...what's wrong with a 12,000 seater? You expect them to squeeze into your 5-room flat issit?

  Yea but my worries are the growing number of people falling prey to it, and how they could possibly gain the numbers to start telling us what to do.

  Just because we feel we don't have the right to tell them what to do does not mean they would have any reservations to repay that courtesy.

  After all from their perspective, they're saving us.

  chc should also send a team to look into the needs of his followers' parents because they are supporting themselves since their children have no more money to give to their parents after giving to chc.

  To all those who are so 'angry'/'frustrated' with chc building this building, I have one thing to say - calm down, relax, breathe. Nobody is out to personally 'get' you.

  Its their building isn't it? Why are you so troubled by it? When you buy your apartment nobody slams you on the internet now do they? Take a deep breath... and before criticising anybody's religion/beliefs look at the climate that we're in at the moment.

  Maybe it wouldn't be so wise to get into a theological argument considering what our 'neighbours' are going through. That's the first thing. Secondly, what else is happening today? A community of people are going through a disaster and what are we all doing? On the net fighting over something that honestly, is not really any of our business is it?

  Like chc or hate it, its ur choice. But look at what they're doing in Haiti. Twitter, facebook its all over the web. Personally, as a Christian and as a Singaporean I am glad that somebody is doing something to show that our country is generous and giving to other countries in the time of need.

  Brings me back to sec school social studies. Inter-dependence etc etc.

  Well anyway, all I'm saying is, whether you agree with the 310 million building or not doesn't really matter when its the matter of many people's lives that are being saved by the willingness of these chc volunteers.

  Does money matter so much to you that you're ignoring all the good they're doing? I hope not.

  Its an interesting topic, and you guys are boosting the count up so much, it's not really a big shock its the first one people would look at.

  Hmmm I guess its just somehting you'd link it too right? Since a church is known for either having a worship service or doing good. So, if you don't agree with the way the church 'conducts' the service / worship (i.e. the infrastructure of the building) then you look at what good they have done instead before basing your judgments?

  Seems pretty logical to me.

  Well...i know CHC is known for having a great worship service, i haven't exactly heard much about them doing good. Perhaps you might want to elaborate?
