Some thoughts

Dear All:
I've been thinking about a few things recently and would like to share with all of us here in this sub-forum.
Been thinking about how have people been perceiving Christians [in singapore context mainly]. Maybe i would like to make a distinction between a Christian and a mere Fanboy.
A fanboy, or a fan, is someone who everyday puts the name of God or Jesus on their mouth, they can sing songs about God or Jesus in lunchtime. [what's so different then replacing the name of Jesus with some star or singer?in this sense?] Besides this they like to say that this is wrong that is sin etc etc.
But seldom people are reminded of what Christians should be like. While the things that i mentioned on top is not wrong, there should be more than that, that could come out from Christians. People have long since felt or see grace overflowing from Christians. Or at least when is the last time any of us here have heard a kind word from the so-called Christian forumers here? When is the last time that the actual impression of Christians is that of one that helps the poor and needy? When is the last time we see solid Bible Preaching and not something flimsy and lovey-dovey? When will we see people such as Mother Theresa [and i'm even quoting a roman Catholic], John Calvin, John Wesley or Bishop Desmond Tutu?
May we all remember that Jesus said "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."
Dear Christians, may we all actually be transformed inwardly, so strongly by the Grace of God, that what flows out from us, is grace, and not some ya-ya kind of attitute.

May we all remember that Jesus said "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." ===> Precisely, i have been telling christians this, and they can't take it.
I have been through all those blah blah blah in christian life and current life to know what christians are like. I give up on the nasty and evil christians. Period.

hi don 1266, you are a good christian who really understands the teachings but there aren't many christians like you around. you see, no christians respond to your posting. they aren't thinking of what you have said. sad.

The reason so few Christians have replied because Poop And Poop has destroyed this forum by flooding it with Christian hating trolls . . . . you might be better post somewhere else.

Actually don1266, are you even sure that Calvin, Wesley etc have the right idea about what the Tenakh and the Brit Chadashah are about? If you really want solid teaching, then go back to your basics and start there.

I see that you are using the Hebrew names for the old and new Testament. :)
I trust that Reformer John Calvin have solid, truthful and faithful hermeneutics :)
But again, this thread of mine, is to point out and share that we must be transformed by Christ and and the Word of God. and to walk and live out the Christian life.regards,

Hi Fantagf and Miracles&Prophecies:
My hope is to reach out and to feel and understand all who have been posting here. Many have been confused, many have been hurt, many have been mislead.
By God's grace, i hope to reach out. with what little i can.
This forum has changed, no doubt from its original intent, but as long as there are still people around here, it's a fully funtional and working forum, with live human beings typing and reacting. I pray that we all would give all of us a shot/chance :) or a few of them
